Finding the background, wanting to fully understand the situation before going into action – that’s me. I perceive the work of an organizational consultant to be a bit like solving a criminal case: my strength is to have a good feel for what’s happening between the lines and the dynamics that are in play. In my work, I connect people with processes: both the hard and soft factors of change, and thereby want to make sustainable development possible. To achieve this, in my work with organizations, teams and people, I take care to approach topics differently from time to time in the interests of enabling solutions “from within”. I take a direct approach in my work and I’m not afraid of addressing difficult topics, as I know that the most obvious solution isn’t necessarily the best solution. Some of my colleagues think that I can be a little too honest at times, but I prefer to be clear and direct. It is important to me that our work makes an impact, and when a lack of support for upcoming changes in organizations at the internal level seems to be present, I am open to question if our contribution makes sense. Luckily this only happened twice in the last decade.
