The most important ingredient when designing workshops and projects is energy. Without energy there can be no action, and action is always required to get things going or to solve problems.
I am particularly pleased to support organisations with rising to the challenges surrounding the topic of “New Work” and to go in-depth, so as to emerge on the other side full of energy and with a cool head. My tools of the trade come from my background in economics, my many years of experience as a consultant in a variety of industries and organisations, and my training in systemic organisational development, agile methods and design thinking. Drawing on my degree in philosophy, I am also used to finding completely incomprehensible situations at first and to encountering them without fear. I keep my fear for the occasions when it fulfils its purpose: to protect and raise my awareness in risky situations, such as surfing, one of my passions.
Those who know the sea will also know: there is almost no part of the natural world where more energy can be found. To be able to absorb this energy and ride the wave rather than being hit by it and “washed” by it, you have to be very attentive of the sea and to encounter it with all of your attention, and at the crucial moment, to avoid working against it but to go with it. I therefore feel I am good at handling energy and action. For my clients, that means even a workshop for redesigning processes can lead to joy in working together – and that is exactly what I want.
