The other day, somebody asked me what I wanted to achieve with my work. After thinking things over, my answer was: to contribute to bringing about more clarity. If processes, competences and responsibilities are clearer, things become simpler and a reduction in workloads is possible in the long term. The journey to achieving that can sometimes be exhausting and even painful, and in the initial moment, it contradicts both me and my approach to life and work. I want to appreciate and enjoy the process of further development, and to pass it on. It may be this sense of ambivalence that my clients appreciate about me, however, and that fascinates me time and again in my work. A lot of things can be combined simultaneously: excitement and relaxation, seriousness and fun, change and consistency, new sources of inspiration and traditional approaches.
Whether it is management training, team development or consulting – with a fun and playful approach, I have made good experiences in many situations, and integrate my passion for these things my work time and again.
Everything I do is guided by sustainability. Sustainability is very close to my heart at various levels, in terms of both my work and in my private life.
For me, sustainable work means effectiveness. The things that have been developed – at a personal level, in a team or for the organisation – should also be implemented. That’s what I’m committed to – and it isn’t always fun.
It’s cropped up again: contradiction.
As a happy resident of Vienna who has German roots and considers herself to be a citizen of the world, I enjoy the many possibilities that a big city offers, combined with the option of being able to visit the countryside pretty quickly. And leisure opportunities are everywhere to be found: from the Escape Room, to improvisational theatre and strategic games, all the way through to Geocaching in the Vienna Woods.
